Hours and Pay RateFlexible schedule, with an average of 4-8 hours per week. Hours will be determined on a per-project basis. Additional work may be available if there is demand and the designer has capacity. Pay rate is $16.30-$16.45.
Length of EmploymentOngoing– the designer will have the opportunity to continue work throughout their enrollment, including summers and breaks if they are available.
Work Requirements- Working independently on projects
- Managing more than one project
- Experience working in Adobe Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Project management and meeting appropriate project deadlines
- Develop conceptual and production-ready designs for digital and print materials in alignment with IC brand standards.
- Collaborate with team members to revise layouts, graphics, and visual assets based on feedback.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and meeting established deadlines
- Must be a currently enrolled, full-time student at Ithaca College.
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Able to stand or sit for extended periods and lift 20 lbs comfortably.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (required), particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to follow established brand guidelines and design systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean, production-ready files.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- A portfolio demonstrating thoughtful design work and technical proficiency.
