What are the responsibilities and job description for the STUDENT-Endpoint Systems Technician position at Student?
The IT&A team is looking for passionate, customer-service-driven technicians to join the Endpoint Team! No experience is required; however, we recommend basic computer literacy and troubleshooting experience for the work. In this role, you will provide software and hardware troubleshooting and maintenance to college-owned devices in faculty and staff offices, computer labs and specialty use spaces. Additionally, you will assist clients directly in the Technology Renewal Process and help update and maintain the college’s device inventory. There are many opportunities for professional development in the IT area, as well as internal transfers/cross-training with other areas of IT&A!
Time Commitment: Approximately 6-12 hours/week (2 hour blocks of time or more)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM with opportunities for break work

Desired Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of Windows and Macintosh platforms
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Zoom, and other Workplace Applications
Knowledge in computer hardware, software and networking
Good customer service skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to troubleshoot problems in front of users
Ability to remain calm under pressure
