What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packer/ Palletizer position at Studco Building Systems?
We are looking for a Packer Palletizer to join our shipping department!
This position is for 1st Shift Hours (7:00am - 3:30pm)
Required Skills:
- Strong Attention to detail.
- Ability to work quickly with minimal error.
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills to assist in packing and preparing pallets for shipment to achieve optimal efficiencies and cost savings
- Knowledge and use of construction tools
- Basic Math Skills to include the ability to read a ruler.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, correspondence & memos.
- Basic Computer Skills - shipping and receiving experience preferred
- Willingness and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Act as a backup to shipping department tasks
