Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with platting preparation and legal documentation.
- Conduct legal research.
- Manage case files and maintain organized document management systems.
- Draft, proofread, and review legal documents including, but not exclusive to, lot sale contracts, platting documents, purchasing agreements, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Perform data entry and clerical tasks to support daily operations.
- Maintain compliance with legal regulations and office procedures.
- Support project management efforts for ongoing cases or initiatives.
Skills
- Strong understanding of various legal fields including real estate development law.
- Familiarity with municipal legal document review and approval processes is highly desirable.
- Proficient in legal research methodologies and tools.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
- Strong proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy in all written materials.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with document review processes and case management systems.
- Experience in executive administrative support within a legal setting is highly desirable.
- Strong phone etiquette for professional communication with clients and stakeholders.
