Semi Trailer Mechanic/ Welder

Stuart Tank Sales Corp., serving the transportation industry for over 67 years is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Semi-Trailer Mechanic/Welder. Qualified candidates will have experience in welding aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel MIG and TIG. However, we are willing to do some training to supplement areas candidates are less familiar with. Basic mechanical experience is REQUIRED. This job includes extensive duties as a mechanic (60-70%). Weld test will be required upon request for interview.

*Weld test includes:

MIG - Mild steel, Aluminum, Stainless Steel

TIG - Aluminum, Stainless Steel

Positions: Groove welds in 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G

We are a Semi-Trailer dealer. Job includes repairing and modifying commercial semi-trailers.

• Brake repairs, suspension repairs, air systems, lighting systems, hydraulics
• Welding including sections in barrels, frame repairs, vessel cracks
• Modifications including loading/unloading equipment installs
• If it rolled over on the road we can fix it. If it just needs a fender we can do that also.

1ST SHIFT NORMAL HOURS 7 AM - 3:30 PM MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

Candidates must be able to pass a drug test for employment.
