Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Radiation Therapist at Stuart Oncology Associates PA in Stuart, FL. The Radiation Therapist will administer prescribed radiation treatments to patients, operate radiation therapy equipment, and ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards. The role involves collaborating with oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to design and execute accurate treatment plans. The Radiation Therapist is also responsible for maintaining accurate treatment records and monitoring patient responses to radiation therapy.
Qualifications
- Certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Proficiency in Radiation Safety protocols and Dosimetry expertise
- Comprehensive knowledge of Radiation therapy techniques and principles
- Understanding of medical terminology and practices related to Medicine and oncology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient care and teamwork
