What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roofing Foreman position at Stuart Conrad Roofing?
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5–10 years of hands-on roofing experience
- Previous foreman or crew-lead experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of multiple roofing systems
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage crews
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and at heights
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical job duties
Primary Duties:
- Supervise and lead roofing crews on residential and/or commercial job sites
- Coordinate daily work activities, crew assignments, and workflow planning
- Ensure all roofing installations meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local building codes
- Perform and oversee installation of various roofing systems including (but not limited to):
- Asphalt shingles
- Metal roofing (standing seam, corrugated, etc.)
- Flat roofing systems (EPDM, TPO, modified bitumen)
- Train, mentor, and support crew members to improve workmanship and productivity
- Identify and correct workmanship issues in real time
- Communicate progress, material needs, and jobsite concerns with management
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
- Perform final walk-throughs and quality inspections upon job completion
- Assist with troubleshooting leaks, repairs, and warranty issues when needed
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
