Medical Scheduler
Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | 30-minute lunch
Location: Stuart, FL (In-Person Role)
About the Role
We’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Medical Scheduler to join our busy cardiology practice in Stuart, FL. As one of the first points of contact for our patients, you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming, efficient experience from the very first call. Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, procedures, and follow-ups
- Confirm appointments and communicate updates to patients and providers
- Maintain accurate provider schedules and support clinic flow
- Enter and update patient information in EHR and scheduling systems
- Deliver excellent customer service via phone and in person
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA standards
- Assist with general front-office tasks and support the clinical team as needed
Qualifications
- 2 years experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and phone etiquette skills
- Experience with EHR and scheduling systems strongly preferred
- Organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive team player with a patient-first mindset
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- High-volume call center or medical scheduling experience
- Prior cardiology or specialty practice experience a plus
