Small downtown Tampa CPA firm is seeking a permanent part-time or seasonal staff accountant.
Salary: $25 - $45 per hour
Position is NOT remote.
Duties include:
- Preparation and review of individual, corporate and partnership federal, state and local tax returns, and supporting workpapers
- Tax Research
- Assisting with audit and review engagements
- Minimal monthly write-up work
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA or CPA candidate a plus
- 1 years prior CPA firm experience
- Must be proficient with 10 key calculator
- Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of UltraTax and QuickBooks a plus
- Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, independent and good at problem solving
