Piping Design Lead
Location: Hybrid (Portland, OR; Phoenix, AZ; Pittsburgh, PA; Boise, ID) preferred
Pay Range: $43.00 - $68.00 per hour

Summary Motivated, self-starting Process Piping Lead with 5 years leading a piping team. Candidate will have experience developing resource loaders, managing teams to delivery schedules, and facilitating resolution of design challenges for the piping team. Ideal candidate will have 15 years experience in layout of process and mechanical equipment and associated piping design. Must be well organized with strong communication skills. Responsibilities: * Provide direction and coordinate the work of sub-leads and piping designers to ensure project execution with high design quality. ??????* Manage delivery schedule including escalation to project managers when schedule is at jeopardy. * Support piping design team and facilitate resolution of design challenges. * Develop resource loaders to predict budget burn rate and overall estimate to complete work. * Coordinate design with other disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, etc.) to ensure success of project. * Position may also require field support activities on client site including site walks. * Will be working with an engineering design team on high-tech industrial manufacturing facility projects. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Recent experience and knowledgeable user of Cadworx 3D, Revit design software and Navisworks.
- Experience with process mechanical piping systems, industrial waste and high purity water systems a plus.
- Microelectronics experience a plus.
- Experience with pipe installation details and pipe supports a plus.,
