Responsibilities
- Safely operate vehicles to transport deceased persons.
- Coordinate with funeral homes, hospitals, and other facilities to schedule pickups and drop-offs efficiently.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of bodies using proper lifting techniques to ensure safety and dignity.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles to ensure optimal operation and appearance.
- Communicate professionally with team members, clients, and facility staff to ensure smooth transportation processes.
- Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during vehicle operation.
- Keep accurate records of transportation logs, delivery documentation, and vehicle maintenance reports.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to interact respectfully with families, clients, and team members during sensitive situations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling bodies or equipment involved in transportation.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify issues early and ensure safety standards are met.
