Key Responsibilities
- Compile and consolidate data from multiple sources into a master production schedule
- Improve visibility and communication of scheduling information across teams and departments
- Monitor work progress on the plant floor and update the master schedule accordingly
- Coordinate the flow of work and materials between departments to avoid bottlenecks
- Analyze and manage make-to-stock inventory and its downstream production effects
- Track status of high-profile jobs to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction
- Collaborate with Procurement, Quality, and Logistics teams to align production with material availability and capacity constraints
- Perform administrative tasks related to scheduling and production control as required
- Report directly to the Operations Manager as part of the Production Control team
- Deliver actionable insights to production supervisors by synthesizing complex information streams
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- Relevant experience in production planning, scheduling, or operations coordination
- Familiarity with ERP / MRP systems, Excel tools (tables, filters, sorting), and project management platforms
- Smartsheet or Epicor experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, team-oriented demeanor
