Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, manuals, and specifications
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and basic calibration on facility equipment
- Troubleshoot electronic instrumentation including thermocouples, tachometers, temperature controllers, and pressure transducers
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to support production demands
- Operate shop and material handling equipment safely, including forklifts
- Follow safety protocols and participate in inspections and risk assessments
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments
- 2 years of industrial experience in an electrical/mechanical environment (trade program completion or Associate’s Degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of PLCs, HMI systems, and motor drives
- Proficient in using multimeters and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and use hands/arms regularly
- Exposure to mechanical parts, temperature extremes, moderate noise, and occasional outdoor conditions
- Rotating shift schedule; flexibility required
