Responsibilities
- Help establish quality standards for manufactured products
- Read blueprints and specifications to verify production requirements
- Inspect and test materials, equipment and finished products
- Use measuring tools such as micrometer screw gauges
- Identify products that do not meet established quality standards
- Recommend adjustments or changes to production processes when needed
- Accept or reject finished products based on inspection results
- Discuss inspection findings with the production team
- Perform random inspections to evaluate product quality
- Recommend strategies to improve product quality
- Perform other duties as assigned
- At least three years of assembly experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to interpret technical documents and manuals
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills
- Must qualify as a U.S. Person
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to work in extreme cold and hot temperatures
- Ability to squat and kneel
- Ability to push and pull
- Ability to stand for extended periods
