Project Manager – Telecom

STS Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Project Manager for a leading telecom company in North Branch, MN. In this role, you will coordinate assigned projects and support ordering, shipping, and installation processes. The ideal candidate will excel at planning, scheduling, and communication to ensure projects are completed on time and meet customer expectations.

Compensation

• Starting Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 (based on experience)

Schedule

• 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Manage order entry and completion procedures across internal systems
• Respond to client requests, assess service costs, and apply appropriate pricing
• Negotiate with clients when necessary while adhering to margin guidelines
• Schedule and communicate order requirements with service providers
• Coordinate external resources to ensure timely and accurate project execution
• Track, monitor, and report project progress internally and externally
• Handle order escalations and provide support to clients and field teams
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and service providers
• Participate in training, projects, and initiatives to meet company goals

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Basic math skills (job costing, discounting, profit margin calculations)
• Ability to travel to customer sites or warehouse (up to 50% or more)

Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods (6 hours) using office equipment
• Strong focus, persistence, and attention to detail
• Professional interaction with coworkers and customers

Education & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in scheduling, dispatching, or high-volume customer service
• Construction or Telecommunications experience is a plus

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
