Come be part of our team as an Early Learning Center Classroom Aide.
Now interviewing for a Part time Infant/ Toddler position!
Responsibilities: The Aide will promote a caring classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized, small group, and full class learning in a faith-based learning environment.
- Assist with age-appropriate instructional activities.
- Be able to utilize technology and a variety of learning materials.
- Be able to assist with cleaning duties as assigned.
- Support students by adapting activities to meet their individual learning styles.
- Facilitate small group activities that promote social interaction and communication skills.
- Help maintain an organized classroom setting conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with teachers regarding student progress and any concerns that arise.
- Participate in training sessions related to methods and best practices in early childhood education and a faith based learning environment.
Requirements:
- The Aide must be Virtus trained (or willing to be trained), pass FBI and BCI background checks, complete ODE Early Childhood Orientation Training and be CPR/First Aid certified.
- 2 years of experience in infant and/or toddler settings preferred
- Enthusiastic, passionate, and nurturing
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Solid work ethic
- Must be able to speak, stand, talk, walk, sit, see, hear, climb, kneel, crouch, or crawl with reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds
