Chemical Clean / Receiving Operator (FAA Regulated)

STS Aerospace (previously known as Lewis & Saunders) in Laconia, NH is searching for a Chemical Clean Operator to join the team. This position is responsible for completing chemical processing on manufactured pieces in accordance to manufactured steps and standards.

• Must be able to use overhead crane to perform time sequential transfers of baskets to and from specific process solutions.
• Loads and unloads parts into process baths.
• Handles hazardous waste throughout the facility.
• Performs flushing and blowing out parts with chemicals, water, and compressed air.
• Follows all required safety and OSHA rules and regulation including the use of PPE.
• Performs visual inspection of parts and assemblies.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
• Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time
• Other duties may be assigned as needed
