Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Manage POS systems such as Cloud 9 POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while balancing registers at shift end.
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; assist with stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights or special events like banquets or catering functions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender with food service
- Strong knowledge of POS systems familiarity with retail math and basic math skills are essential for accurate transactions training available.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently.
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods without compromising quality.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Experience working in the food industry with an understanding of beverage preparation techniques including brewing or mixing cocktails.
- Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
