What you will do
The roles purpose is to support the managing and implementing of ad hoc projects within Supply Planning in the specific Franchise such as M&A,
PLCM implementation, Marketing and AO interface projects that require dedicated focus. The role will interface with Supply Planning, Advanced Operations, Sourcing, Manufacturing and the Marketing function in planning, managing and executing projects within the Supply Functional remit
- To create clear project plans with timing, milestones and resources to execute within a given brief from within the supply planning function and where it interfaces cross functionally
- To highlight to management progress and escalate where required projects that are behind in performance and propose mitigating actions.
- To be able write up a project and to co-ordinate resources based on the direction of a senior manager
- To be able to cross functional boundaries and work with multi-disciplinary teams in supporting specific projects to a close and to the quality standards needed
- To be able to review key projects ongoing and capable of assessing impact based on the original objectives set by the team or leader.
- To work with other project managers and learn best practice process and controls in project management and therefore setting a clear standard for Stryker in driving best practice project management.
- To be capable of working to financials or resource budgets as allocated when developing and executing a project within the franchise.
- To learn how to be responsible for running risk assessments and level of change required within a given project and to be responsible for identifying and mitigating issues in regard to people change management.
- To be responsible for the planning of all logistics and review cycle for the project and to record the agreed actions, impacts to senior management.
- To be capable of managing basic specific plant or under direction franchise specific projects within the context of an overall program direction or scope
What you need
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (preferably in Business/Engineering/Supply Chain management)
- 4+ years of professional experience (preferably in supply/manufacturing/engineering)
Additionally, what you need
- Demonstrate knowledge of project management software tools to support driving best practice project management
- Strong Microsoft office skills, excel /PPT and knowledge of Microsoft project
