OnSite Specialist - Iowa City, IA - 2nd Shift

Work Flexibility: Field-based As an OnSite Specialist, you will manage equipment processing and preventative maintenance to ensure functionality, longevity, and patient safety. What you will do: Manage and care for Customer’s equipment within the Sterile Processing Department (SPD). Perform the cleaning, maintenance, and assembly of surgical instrumentation and equipment. Use exceptional attention to detail in order to ensure surgeon’s equipment is clean, sterile, functioning properly, and ready for the next case. Perform job functions while adhering to all industry and facility-specific standards and safety protocols. Understand the unique challenges faced by caregivers to ensure that hospital staff can focus on patient care Exert up to 50lbs of force occasionally and up to 20lbs of force constantly to move objects. Remain standing or walking for an extended period of time. Meet work schedule to ensure consistent coverage as required by the medical facility. What You Need: Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Demonstrate excellent time management and problem-solving abilities. Adapt to changing shifts and account needs with flexibility. Obtain and maintain required certifications (e.g., HSPA) and meet vendor credentialing requirements for all assigned accounts to ensure professional development and account compliance. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred Experience with medical device support or in a clinical environment. Knowledge of operating room standards and sterile processing practices. HSPA/CRCST certification. Adhere to Stryker’s code of conduct and HIPAA regulations, maintaining patient confidentiality, high-quality standards, and demonstrating professionalism in work ethic, attitude, and appearance Working hours are 2 PM until 10:30 PM The pay rate is $23.73 plus $1/hour shift premium. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
