What are the responsibilities and job description for the Journeyman Electrician position at Stryker Electric LLC?
Stryker Electric LLC is looking for a licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team. Our office is located in the Edom/Ben Wheeler TX area. Applicants must live no more than one hour away from our office. This position will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. Must be comfortable with running and overseeing a crew. Must be able to travel out of town. Travel expenses are covered. Company truck available. You will report to the office every morning Monday-Friday unless the job is out of town. Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and equipment
- Clean and inspect work to ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot problems and maintain accurate records of work orders
- Ensure work is performed in compliance with regulations
- Update company records and report changes or concerns to supervisors or managers
- Other duties as assigned
- Able to run a crew
- Read blueprints
Experience, Education, and Licenses:
- Journeyman license (Required)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions
- Ability to follow general job procedures and document actions, instructions, paperwork, and other documents
