What are the responsibilities and job description for the RouteMaster/Office Team Member position at Stryder Transportation?
The Office Team Member/RouteMaster is an administrative role which supports the daily operation of Grapeline’s location(s) via organization, communication, oversight, and administrative activity. The Office Asst. acts as a go-between who coordinates and communicates across multiple departments and whose activities prepare and support our day to day operations. Position reports directly to a Branch Manager or the General Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Office Team Member/RouteMaster carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas:
- Office Support & Administration
- Check branch emails, respond to general inquiries, answer phones, interface with guests, prospective guests, winery partners and co-workers.
- Prepare and update daily paperwork for staff; review and update correspondence, reservations, and arrangements with partner wineries and vendors for all branches.
- Answer phones, send emails, and perform basic administrative tasks, as needed/directed to support the General office staff through the upcoming week.
- Assist managers and colleagues with support and assistance via general administrative activities.
- RouteMaster
- Oversee Tours and Transportation services on weekends (primarily Saturdays), acting as a central hub for the day’s assignments
- Coordinate between customers and field staff
- Monitor activity and location of field staff throughout the day
- Trouble-shoot unexpected circumstances in the field, such as late customers, vehicle issues and other field complications
- Alert management as needed
- Supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
- Ability to effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all Administrative Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
- May direct and lead the work of others. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

- Plan and Prepare daily tours coordinating with guests, vendors, and staff to ensure the day is both planned and executed well.
- Coordinate with other key contacts to synchronize the efforts of scheduling, management, and the fleet or host departments. Communicate impending issues, as you see them.

The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by the Route Master to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
- Bend, lift, carry, climb, push, stand, sit, walk, hear, and speak.
- Tolerate exposure to heat, cold, dust, humidity, and noise.
This is a non-exempt, full-time position with an expected 32-40 hours per week Thursday through Monday. The position will be expected to service all geographic regions of the two divisions.
