Role Description
StruXure MidAtlantic is seeking a licensed Master Electrician with an established crew to support electrical installations for pergola and outdoor living system projects.
This is a 1099 contractor role paid per project, with compensation varying based on project scope, complexity, and timeline.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Electricity and Electrical Work
- Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair and Troubleshooting electrical systems
- Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations
- Ability to work on-site and independently manage electrical tasks in both residential and commercial environments
- Master Electrician license in the state of Maryland or eligibility to obtain one
- Experience in outdoor lighting or similar landscape-focused electrical work is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities
- Install and connect electrical components for outdoor structures, including: Lighting systems, Motorized louver systems, Fans, heaters, and integrated technology
- Interpret project plans, specs, and electrical layouts
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes Coordinate with project managers and installation teams on-site Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as needed
- Maintain a safe and efficient job site
Requirements
- Valid Master Electrician license (required)
- Must have an established crew/team capable of completing projects
- Experience with residential and/or commercial electrical work
- Ability to pull permits where required
- Strong understanding of code compliance and safety standards
- Reliable transportation and tool
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
Compensation
