Position Summary
We are seeking an entry-level Capture Technician to support construction site documentation and reality capture activities. This role involves visiting active construction sites to collect 360° imagery, video, and related data using company-provided equipment. The Capture Technician must be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in live construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled site visits to capture 360° video, photos, or scans using company-provided devices
- Follow defined capture routes, timing, and quality standards
- Maintain situational awareness while operating on active construction sites
- Coordinate site access with general contractors or site supervisors as required
- Ensure captured data is complete, accurate, and uploaded per company procedures
- Perform basic equipment checks, setup, and troubleshooting
- Follow all site safety rules, PPE requirements, and company safety policies
- Document site conditions, access limitations, or anomalies encountered during capture
- Communicate clearly with supervisors regarding site status, issues, or delays
Work Schedule & Travel Requirements
- Must be able to work full workdays (8–10 hours) depending on project requirements
- Must be willing and able to travel to job sites
- Valid driver’s license required
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Comfortable working on active construction sites
- Ability to follow instructions and standardized procedures
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Basic comfort using smartphones, cameras, or handheld devices
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
Preferred (Not Required)
- Construction site experience or general construction knowledge
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working around multiple trades
- Familiarity with PPE and jobsite safety protocols
Physical & Work Environment
Work is performed on active construction sites, both indoors and outdoors. The role involves frequent walking, standing, and stair climbing, with exposure to noise, dust, and varying weather conditions. Must be able to wear required PPE.
Performance Expectations
Accurate and consistent capture quality, on-time completion of scheduled site visits, professional conduct on client job sites, and strict adherence to safety and site rules.
