Job Summary
The Quality Technician has the responsibility of performing quality inspections and testing of raw material bulk and finished products. It is also the overall responsibility to support production needs such as first article inspections, ATP tests, nonconformances, and help monitor for any excursions. Quality Technician will need to adhere to industry and quality and safety standards and ensure it is being followed throughout the manufacturing areas.
Job Requirements
High School or GED required. Associate degree in a science related field a plus.
Essential Duties & Requirements
· Product Inspections (Incoming, WIP, Finished Goods) – Visual, functional, and dimensional testing – daily as needed.
· First Article approvals – Daily as needed.
· Verification of Instruments daily as needed.
· Maintain Retains – Incoming, Bulks and Finished Products.
· Log Samples onto appropriate spreadsheets.
· Documents – Review and approve job jackets by checking for any cGMPs issues and variances.
· Nonconformances – Initiating NCR’s and following appropriate procedures for segregating non-conforming product.
· Environmental – Temperature and Humidity Charts, Daily Pressure Verification
· Testing – Product testing as per specifications in the batch records.
And other actions as assigned by manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
