Role Description The Autocad Drafter at STRUCTURE is a full-time, on-site role based in North Las Vegas, NV. This role is responsible for producing detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting tools to support design, fabrication, and installation of brand experience elements. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting design concepts, creating and revising shop drawings and architectural drawings, and preparing documentation that aligns with project specifications and industry standards. The Autocad Drafter collaborates with designers, project managers, and production teams to ensure drawings are accurate, feasible, and optimized for manufacturing. The role also involves maintaining drawing libraries, adhering to company drafting standards, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to meet project timelines.
Qualifications
- Ability to produce precise technical drawings and general drawing documentation using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Experience creating shop drawings that support fabrication, installation, and production workflows.
- Proficiency in architectural drawings and an understanding of architecture fundamentals relevant to brand environments.
- Knowledge of drafting standards, dimensioning, and material callouts for structural and architectural components.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with design, engineering, and production teams.
- Associate degree or technical certification in drafting, CAD, architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in environmental graphics, signage, exhibits, or brand experience projects is beneficial.
