Role Description The Autocad Drafter is a full-time, on-site role based in North Las Vegas, NV. This role is responsible for producing detailed technical drawings in AutoCAD, including shop drawings and architectural drawings that support design, fabrication, and installation. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting design concepts, reviewing specifications, coordinating with project managers and designers, and updating drawings to reflect changes and approvals. The Autocad Drafter will maintain accurate drawing sets, adhere to company standards, and ensure that all documentation supports efficient project execution and high-quality brand environments. Collaboration with internal teams and occasional coordination with vendors or fabricators is expected to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Drawing and general Drawing for production-ready documents.
- Candidates should possess skills in creating Shop Drawings for fabrication and installation detailing.
- Candidates should possess skills in developing Construction Drawings for wood and metal fabrication.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Router-CIM CNC software, with experience preparing precise 2D/3D drawings.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in measurements, and ability to follow and set drafting standards.
- Ability to read and interpret Design Drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with designers, project managers, and production teams.
- Relevant technical certificate or degree in drafting, architecture, engineering, or a related field preferred; prior experience in fabrication, signage, or environmental branding is a plus.
