LOCATION & DURATION
All internships will be based in our South San Francisco, CA and will be in-person minimum 3 days a week (Tue/Thu and 1 flex day) in the office. This internship starts in late June 2024 for approximately 10-12 weeks. This is a temporary role working up to 40 hours per week and the hourly rate is $25/hour.
POSITION SUMMARY
Our interns will assist with the daily operations in each of their specific departments assigned to and gain exposure, including but not limited to:
- Hands-on, meaningful work experience in their field of study.
- Work in the industry on applying leading edge technology.
- Use school knowledge in real-work situations.
- Explore the environment and culture of a leading biotechnology company.
- Develop a network of industry contacts for future mentorship and guidance.
- Provide qualified and enthusiastic candidates for short-term projects.
- Encourage word-of-mouth advertising when Interns return to school.
- Potential to bring new science technologies and knowledge from the classroom into the workplace.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gain hands-on experience in the organization based on your background and interest levels
- Work cross functionally across various departments and locations including Shanghai.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism while working with other interns and colleagues.
- Bring a curious mindset to learn, grow and contribute to the organization.
- Attend planned intern events on site.
- Participate in work experiences that are both challenging and educational.
- Present a summary of your internship learnings and project results to the company leadership at the conclusion of the internship program.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program with plans to return to school in the fall.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is a plus.
- All applicants must be at least 18 years of age by June 1, 2024.

The target hourly rate for this intern role is $25.00 an hour. Structure Therapeutics determines salary ranges based on level and scope of responsibilities, as well as location. Individual pay is further determined by additional factors, including relevant experience, specific job skills, education and training. Students will be on their own for housing, benefits, transportation, etc., and need to provide adequate work authorization to work for any US employer through the duration of the program.
