Overview
Structural Technologies VSL is seeking skilled Carpenters to work with our formwork and build forms for bearing grout pours. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in carpentry and formwork with the ability to perform a variety of tasks related to carpentry and general labor duties. Housing will be provided for out of town employees.
Duties
- Construct and assemble formwork for various construction projects
- Build forms for bearing grout pours
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
- Collaborate with other construction workers and supervisors to complete projects on time
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries
Experience
- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Proficiency in formwork construction
- Strong understanding of safety protocols
- Ability to work in a team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
