Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Inventory Control/Planner Coordinator to oversee and optimize inventory management processes within our supply chain operations.
The Inventory Control Coordinator/Planner is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring proper stock rotation, and warehouse distribution activities to ensure seamless inventory flow. This role involves monitoring inventory transactions, reconciling discrepancies, and collaborating with purchasing, operations, and logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory accuracy.
The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills, experience with warehouse management systems, and a solid understanding of supply chain analytics. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to process improvements, enhance supplier relationships, and support overall operational efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records in the AvSight system.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile variances promptly.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, reporting findings to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory control.
- Coordinate with purchasing and operations teams to manage stock replenishment and transfers.
- Prepare and analyze inventory reports for management review.
- Support audits and assist in implementing process improvements for inventory accuracy.
- Maintain proper documentation for all inventory transactions.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and ERP platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
