(Entry-Level)
We are seeking an entry-level BIM Modeler to join our diverse team of dedicated and motivated professionals. The successful candidate will be trained to use Trimble’s Tekla Structures software to produce 3D models of precast concrete structures. The ideal candidate must be efficient and detailed-oriented and must be an organized self-starter who needs little supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Use Trimble’s Tekla Structures software to produce complete sets of BIM details based on client specifications and requirements for precast concrete structures.
Use our company's standard details, code requirements, standard BIM practices, and previous experience to produce BIM details in coordination with the Precast Department Manager, Project Lead Engineers, and other BIM Modelers.
Produce BIM details accurately, on time, and on budget.
Comply with any and all other requests as made by other team members or managers.
Commute to main office multiple times a week.
Qualifications:
Must have BIM or CAD degree or certificate or 2 years of work experience in BIM or CAD.
Must be willing to work flexible schedule and overtime as needed.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without restrictions. We are not able to sponsor visas at this time.
Experience with Trimble’s Tekla Structures software is a big plus.
Experience with C# coding is a big plus.
Experience reading blueprints is a plus.
Experience with drafting in AutoCAD is a plus.
Experience with advanced functions in Microsoft Excel is a plus.
Experience with advanced functions in Bluebeam and/or Adobe is also a plus.
