About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and driven Project Manager/Estimator to oversee the full lifecycle of commercial and industrial construction projects—from sales support and budgeting to design coordination, construction execution, and project closeout. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and municipalities to ensure each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Pre-Construction Support
Attend client meetings to understand scope, goals, and expectations
Log communications and maintain project activity records in BuilderTrend
Create and maintain project folders and documentation
Budgeting & Estimating
Develop preliminary budgets using historical project data
Complete estimating worksheets and request bids from subcontractors and vendors
Write and present budget proposals and design retainers
Execute design or budget contracts upon client approval
Design & Permitting
Research city planning and permit requirements
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants
Manage site plans, surveys, soil borings, and photometrics
Ensure all design documentation and submittals are complete
Project Estimation & Contracting
Collect, analyze, and organize bids for all scope items
Complete and present detailed estimates and final contract proposals
Manage buy-out of project components and issue POs
Execute building contracts and secure client approval
Construction & Project Management
Coordinate scheduling and planning meetings with clients and subcontractors
Monitor jobsite activity through field reports and superintendent check-ins
Review and approve submittals; distribute updated schedules weekly
Manage change orders, schedule adjustments, and client communications
Conduct site visits and track progress via BuilderTrend
Project Closeout & Warranty
Coordinate final inspections, certifications, and delivery of turnover books
Maintain warranty communication and coordinate follow-up service as needed
What We're Looking For
5 years of project management experience in commercial construction
Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred (not required)
Strong understanding of construction materials, phases, and processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, BuilderTrend, Bluebeam, PlanSwift and related technologies
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects with varying scopes and stakeholders
