SAI is seeking a skilled Structural BIM Technician to join our dynamic team in Plymouth, Michigan. This is a full time, on-site position offering the opportunity to work on challenging projects and collaborate with a close-knit, experienced team.
Responsibilities
- Model and detail buildings and structures using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Collaborates with engineers to develop robust 3D models and detail drawings.
- Prepares/creates/revises complex, accurate 3D models for permitting, fabrication and erection.
- Collaborates with architects and contractors to ensure precise detailing and coordination.
Qualifications
- Two-year technical certificate or associate's degree in a related field.
- Applicants must have 3 years professional experience working with Revit on building projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently, accurately and independently.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Able to handle multiple projects occurring simultaneously with a sense of urgency for goal achievement.
- Own the customer experience throughout the entire lifecycle of the relationship.
