At Struction Solutions, we provide environmental safety services including lead hazard evaluations, abatement oversight, and regulatory compliance. We are seeking a licensed professional to join our team who can lead risk assessments for lead-based paint hazards across residential, commercial, and public-sector properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct lead-based paint risk assessments in accordance with federal and state regulations
Collect paint, dust, and soil samples and coordinate with accredited laboratories
Prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings, risk levels, and recommended controls or abatement actions
Ensure all work conforms to the state rules under the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Lead Hazard Management Program. North Carolina Division of Public Health 1
Communicate assessment results to clients, contractors, and project teams
Maintain records and documentation for certification and regulatory compliance
Required Qualifications:
Active certification/licensure as a Lead Risk Assessor from the North Carolina Health Hazards Control Unit / NCDHHS. Lead Certification 2North Carolina Division of Public Health 2
Successful completion of accredited Lead Inspector training as a prerequisite. Lead Certification
Proven experience in environmental, construction, or remediation fields with emphasis on lead hazard work
Strong attention to detail in field work, sampling, documentation, and report writing
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Lead Inspector or abatement supervisor
Familiarity with multi-unit housing, pre-1978 structures, and child-occupied facilities
Excellent client-communication skills and ability to work with project teams
