What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpentry Shop Associate position at Structall Building Systems, Inc?
Structall Building Systems is an industry leader in SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels) who has been in business for over 30 years. We are a building material manufacturer/distributor located in Oldsmar, FL.
We are growing and looking for a dependable, energetic and detail-oriented individual to work in our carpenter shop department! There is opportunity to advance, and it is in an air-conditioned space!
In the carp shop department, you will be responsible for (we will teach you- this is an entry level position):
- Measuring and cutting material to exact measurements.
- Use a Punching machine to create holes in material.
- Splining and screening materials where appropriate.
- Assemble Modular units with screws.
- Cut Panels for housing projects according to prints.
- Package cut panels for shipment.
Requires Heavy Lifting
Some Carpenter/ Contracting skills required.
