If you are looking for a career in the public service sector, apply to the Grosse Pointe Park Public Safety Department today. Starting salary begins at $62,173 with top pay of $88,819 being reached in just 4 years. As of July 2027, top pay will reach $98,949. Lateral pay will be considered for those with prior police or fire fighting experience. All new hires will be enrolled in a defined contribution plan along with a 457b retirement plan worth up 30% of base wage combined when maxed out. In addition, employees will be eligible for a large paid time off plan of over 25 days.
