Position Summary:
We are seeking a certified and experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join
our growing Urgent Care team in a dual-specialty outpatient clinic providing both Urgent
Care and Rheumatology services. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical acumen,
flexibility, and a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in both acute and chronic care environments.
Primary Responsibilities:
Urgent Care Duties:
-Independently evaluate and treat a wide range of acute conditions including respiratory
infections, minor injuries, musculoskeletal complaints, skin issues, and more
-Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, EKGs)
-Perform minor procedures (e.g., laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, joint
injections)
-Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans consistent with current clinical
guidelines
-Document patient encounters timely and accurately in the EHR (AI Documentation Available)
Qualifications:
-Required:
o Active PA-C or CRNP license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
o National certification (NCCPA for PA-C; AANP/ANCC for CRNP)
o Current DEA license (or ability to obtain)
o BLS
o At least 1–2 years of clinical experience, in primary care or acute care
-Preferred:
o Prior experience in urgent care, or orthopedics
o Comfort with joint injections, aspiration, or interest in procedural training
o Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Tebra, Epic)
Schedule:
- Full-time: 33-40 hours per week
- Includes evening or weekend shifts to support urgent care coverage
-No overnights
Compensation and Benefits:
-Annual Salary: $105,000–$125,000*** based on experience, certifications, and
subspecialty skills
-Eligible for annual performance and productivity incentives
