What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Custodian position at Strongsville City School District?
2025 - 2026 school year
Strongsville City Schools is looking for qualified substitutes to work in the area of: Custodian
Substitute Custodians are called on a day-by-day basis for various shifts. The number of hours to work, and the assignment location will vary on a daily basis.
Duties may include:
- General cleaning
- Use of chemicals/power equipment
- Set up/take down for special events
A fingerprint background check is required - there is a $46.00 fee for this procedure with cash/check or $48.75 with credit card.
Rate of pay=$16.59 per hour Rate of pay after working 30 days = $17.78
If you are selected to become a substitute with Strongsville City Schools, the following documents will be required:
- Drivers License
- Social Security Card (showing current name)
- Banking information for direct deposit
- Email address for pay stubs
- 3 letters of reference with name, address/email of three persons who can be contacted to provide a reference
