Full Job Description
Stronger Together Inc is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated volunteers to join our growing team dedicated to supporting individuals in our community who are experiencing isolation and mental health challenges. Our work focuses primarily on adults and seniors.
Whether you have prior experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions or working with seniors—or are simply passionate about helping others—this is a meaningful opportunity to make a direct and lasting impact in people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in assembling and organizing care packages for community members
- Support peer-led support groups by: Distributing resources, Engaging in group discussions, Offering one-on-one support when appropriate, Occasionally assisting or leading group sessions
- Visit nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals to provide companionship to seniors who may not have regular visitors
- Represent Stronger Together Inc at outreach events by sharing information and resources
- Assist with fundraising events, including preparation, setup, and engagement with attendees
