We are seeking an energetic and vigilant Daytime Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises during daylight hours. Responsibilities
- Conducting foot patrols of site regularly to maintain order and establish a presence
- Conduct access control for vehicle and foot traffic
- Observe and Report
- Secure all exits, doors, and windows during shift and at end of shift
- Respond to alarms as required by client
- Create detailed Daily Activity Reports using company-provided software
- Provide a professional level of service to meet and exceed client expectations
Requirements
- License and Reliable Vehicle
- 21 years of age
- Pass a Cori (background check)
- Be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Excellent observation skills
- High School diploma or GED
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills to interact confidently with staff and visitors
Skills Preferred
- Experience as a security guard and or Military/Law Enforcement.
- Knowledge of legal guidance for area security and public safety
- Familiarity with report writing
- Tech-savvy
- Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense
Expectations
- Ability to stand, walk, and climbs stairs for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to conduct interior and exterior foot patrols as needed.
- Dependable and reliable attendance record.
- Maintain a drug-free workplace.
- Customer Service oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to make decisions with limited supervision
