POSITION TITLE: Press Brake Operator (Metal Fabrication Department)
Strongarm Designs provides the ideal HMI solution to the healthcare, bio-pharmaceutical, food, and manufacturing industries. We are diligently seeking to hire a candidate for the operation of our machines in our Miscellaneous Fabrication area. This position provides machined and fabricated components supporting our entire line of products including CleanMount, Vertica, Mobile Stations, and Suite-Stations. This position is located at our Horsham, PA engineering design, electronics assembly, and metal manufacturing facilities. Strongarm is also looking for a candidate that will adopt a culture of continuous improvement (incremental change, and blame processes, not people).

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position operates the Amada press brakes to form the provided sheet metal parts. The operator will set up and operate the Amada press brake which includes maintaining equipment and tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Measure to ensure conformance to work orders and drawing specifications.
- Clock in and out of work order travelers using the VISUAL barcode system.
- Track stock of supplies and raw materials to ensure adequate level of inventory.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-5 years’ press brake experience required.
- Ability to interpret prints.
- Ability to use and interpret various measuring devices such as calipers and protractors.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and/or walk for 2 hours at a time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Mechanically inclined with an eye for detail.
- Knowledge of the different types of metal used at Strongarm (stainless steel, CRS, and aluminum).
- Knowledge of sheet metal gauges.
