We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Prep Shop Employee to join our storage shed manufacturing team. This position is responsible for preparing shed kits and materials for production, ensuring everything is organized, accurate, and ready for our builders.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize storage shed kits according to build specifications
- Measure, cut, and stage materials for production
- Load and unload building materials
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management and material tracking
- Operate hand tools and shop equipment safely
- Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Basic construction or carpentry experience preferred but not required
- Ability to read measurements and follow instructions
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Team-oriented mindset
- Must be able to safely operate and maneuver, trucks and trailers
