STRONG LAW OFFICES IS EXPANDING – Peoria, Illinois Strong Law Offices is a mid-size, family-oriented plaintiff's firm that represents only injured people – "working lawyers for working people." Founded in Peoria in 1999, we handle workers' compensation claims before the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission and personal injury litigation in circuit courts across Illinois, with offices in Peoria, Bloomington, Springfield, Champaign, and Chicago. The firm has a full docket and more work coming in, and we are building the team to handle it. Members of ITLA, WILG, AAJ, WCLA, and the Peoria County Bar Association; Super Lawyers; A BBB; AV Preeminent. ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY (0–5 years; one or two positions) Immediate, hands-on litigation for an ambitious newer attorney – depositions, arbitrations, hearings, and trials early in your career – with direct mentoring from the firm owner (32 years, AV Preeminent, multiple million-dollar recoveries, hundreds of logged trials and appeals). We will train. - Salary $95,000, commensurate with experience and track record, plus productivity bonuses; full health and dental available - Licensed in Illinois or sitting for the Illinois bar within six months - Westlaw research experience; openness to AI tools is a must - Compassionate, empathetic, but aggressive advocacy; goal-oriented self-starter - Must live near and work from the Peoria main office EXPERIENCED ATTORNEYS Seasoned workers' compensation or personal injury counsel (plaintiff or defense side) looking for a lateral move to a growing firm with immediate trial assignments – terms negotiable, commensurate with experience.
LEGAL SUPPORT – PARALEGALS, LEGAL SECRETARIES, CASE MANAGERS Experienced legal support staff who want to grow into hands-on plaintiff's case managers under direct supervision of a seasoned attorney. $18–$40/hour depending on experience, plus productivity bonuses tied to success. Requires strong organization, Microsoft 365 skills, and a self-starter's drive for multi-tasking and problem solving.
