In this role, you will perform residential and light commercial maintenance work that may include pipe fitting, insulating, welding, repairing electrical or mechanical equipment, repairing buildings, floors, or stairs, and installing new equipment. You are hard-working, a team player, and dedicated to performing quality work in all that you do. Significant past experience as a professional maintenance worker is highly preferred and a positive attitude is a must! Responsibilities: Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctionsDismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power toolsPerform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actionsDiagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessaryRepair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devicesInteract with customers in a professional and friendly mannerDrywall repair Hanging new interior doors | Replacing mirrorsRent Readies and turnoversChanging angle stops and supply linesQualifications: Must be eager to learn on the job Must be punctual and dependable. hard-working, a team player, and dedicated to performing quality work in all that you doBasic knowledge of maintenance repair and service across multiple areasPrevious apartment maintenance experience preferredHVAC Certification is a plusMust have own tools and TruckAbility to read and interpret blueprints Ability to lift 40 lbs on a consistent basis
