About The Role
The Patient Care Coordinator will play a crucial role in coordinating services to support our Queens-based clinics which includes scheduling subspecialty appointments, coordinating medical transportation, completing administrative tasks, supporting providers to navigate patient services, managing office workflows and inventory and ensuring an excellent experience for our patients.

About The Role
The Patient Care Coordinator will play a crucial role in coordinating services to support our Queens-based clinics which includes scheduling subspecialty appointments, coordinating medical transportation, completing administrative tasks, supporting providers to navigate patient services, managing office workflows and inventory and ensuring an excellent experience for our patients.
A typical day may include-
- Coordinating with providers to arrange patient-related services, including appointment scheduling and reserving medical transportation
- Answering varying phone call volumes, smoothly transitioning between peak and quieter periods
- Managing and optimizing daily administrative operations of the clinic
- Coordinating patient appointments, registration, and billing processes
- Following up with patient communication and liaising with providers and clinical staff
- Preparing and maintaining reports and documentation
- Providing translation assistance for Spanish-speaking patients as needed
Knowledge
- Applied experience with medical office management procedures and billing experience
- Understanding of data entry and recordkeeping practices
- Awareness of compliance and regulatory requirements in a healthcare setting
- Some knowledge of healthcare systems familiarity with healthcare terminology
- Excellent bilingual communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking skills, able to identify underlying problems and develop effective solutions for our patients and team members
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google, or similar
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a team
- Able to work onsite Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm (Flushing and Jamaica locations)
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on empathetic patient care
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information
- Capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment
- Competence in managing multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Able to act as a point of contact for internal and external queries from employees, vendors, and partners
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
- Proven experience as an office coordinator, patient navigator or in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Higher education or certification in healthcare is desirable, but not required

- Holistic Total Rewards: This role offers a base salary range of $27.88/hr - $31.25/hr (annualized $58K to $65K/year) and is eligible for overtime pay. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), as well as generous paid time off
