Strom Law Firm, LLC is seeking a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic for an entry-level, full-time receptionist position. Duties include answering multi-line phone system, acquiring initial prospective client information, greeting clients and other visitors, checking faxes, scanning and disseminating daily mail, entering all prospective client initial information into firm legal case management system and additional administrative duties as needed. Must be able to multi-task and communicate effectively with clients, vendor and other professionals. Computer skills a must.
Position Description:
The Receptionist is the face and voice of the firm for potential clients and existing clients and as such is responsible for greeting clients (in person or on the phone) in a pleasant and professional manner. This is a full-time, non-exempt position.
Major areas of responsibility include:
- Initial client intake via telephone to client contact and case information
- Greeting clients and others who visit office
- Weekly entering of postage expenses in Prolaw
- Time Entry for of Counsel attorney in Prolaw
- Entering fedex, mileage, Westlaw and other cost transactions into the case management system
- Processing the firm's incoming mail
- Assisting Intake Team with entering new leads into the Reception Form in Lead Docket, creating and mailing intake packets, sending case declination communications
- Entering new case information in the case management system
- Initiating conflict checks
- Mailing out intake packets to prospective clients as time permits.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The person in this position should be friendly, approachable and have a positive demeanor. It is also a plus if the person has some level of administrative experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office required. Knowledge of Prolaw a plus.
