Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our dedicated team working specifically on CH-47 aircraft and S-92 Helicopters. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong technical painting skills, and adhere strictly to safety and quality standards.
- Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers.
- Apply paint, coatings, and other surface treatments to aircrat, ensuring adherence to all technical manuals and specifications.
- Perform masking, striping, and marking of aircraft in compliance with established guidelines.
- Inspect finished paintwork for accuracy, coverage, thickness, and quality.
- Operate and maintain spray equipment and tools in proper working condition.
- Comply with all safety and environmental regulations and guidelines.
- Accurately document all tasks and maintenance performed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of aircraft or automotive painting experience
- Knowledge of painting procedures, products, and equipment used specifically for aircraft.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical manuals and detailed instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Must adhere to strict safety standards and practices.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
- Comfortable working at heights and on elevated platforms.
