Strods Contracting, a Heavy Civil General Contractor specializing in public infrastructure, is seeking qualified heavy equipment operators for projects in Kalispell, MT and surrounding areas. JOB DUTIES/POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- Ability to proficiently operate various pieces of heavy equipment ranging from excavators, dozers, loaders, skid-steers, rollers, graders etc.
- Assist in the construction of public infrastructure projects ranging from water main and sewer main infrastructure, roadway construction, site work and excavation, mass excavation, demolition and clearing.
- Work with crew members in a team like manor
EXPECTATIONS
- Proficient Knowledge in operation of various pieces of heavy equipment.
- Knowledge in installations of underground utilities, such as water and sewer mains
- Ability to shoot grade and work on various sites.
- Be able to perform manual labor disciplines not limited to installation of valves, pipe, precast structures, etc.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Work in various locations, terrains, and weather conditions.
- Drive company vehicles, and tow various trailers.
- Ability to get to work on time and travel to jobsites

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 Years in Excavation and Heavy Civil Constructions
- 3-5 Years of relevant Heavy Equipment Operation
- Driver's License.
