What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volunteer: Create Impactful Storytelling Videos for Education and Health Programs position at Striving For All?
This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections.
We are looking to create 1–2 short, compelling videos (2–4 minutes each) that clearly tell the story of our work in education and health. These videos will highlight our impact, showcase real stories from the communities we serve, and be used across presentations, donor outreach, and digital platforms. The volunteer will help with: Refining storytelling and script development Editing existing footage and/or guiding new content capture Adding simple motion graphics, captions, and music Producing polished, ready-to-use final videos
Stronger storytelling through video will help us better engage donors, partners, and communities. It will increase visibility of our programs, strengthen trust, and support fundraising efforts, ultimately enabling us to expand access to education and healthcare for underserved populations.
We have: Existing footage, photos, and core messaging prepared Clear objectives and target audiences defined Internal alignment on key stories and priorities We will provide organized materials, timely feedback, and consistent communication to ensure efficient collaboration within the limited weekly hours.
