This is a chance to build—not inherit—a school culture and instructional model from the ground up. You will:Lead and inspire an exceptional faculty who share our progressive educational vision.Bring our curriculum to life, ensuring instruction reflects our values of choice, play, literacy, and deep engagement.Hire, coach, and grow teachers, supporting them relentlessly while also holding them to high expectations.Partner with families through open, honest, and frequent communication.Advocate fiercely for students, ensuring every child feels known, supported, and challenged.Build and manage a leadership team, including two assistant principals and a dean.Oversee a shift-based staffing model that allows our school to operate extended hours—including weekends and summers—while preserving staff work-life balance.Report directly to the Executive Director and serve as the instructional and cultural leader of the school.Compensation$140,000 to $180,000 annual salary depending upon experience.Generous fringe benefits. Requirements:We are looking for someone who:Is genuinely excited by Strive’s model and passionate about innovation.Has at least three years of teaching and/or school administrative experience.Has some leadership experience (e.g., principal, assistant principal, grade team lead, mentor).Has experience in elementary or middle school, preferably elementary school.Thrives in a start-up environment and is energized by building something meaningful.
