**Position:** Fitness Instructor and Tai Chi & Kung Fu Martial Arts Instructor (Group Fitness Instructor)
**Who We’re Looking For:**
A passionate, certified instructor ready to make a difference in the lives of diverse clients, particularly seniors and adults seeking improved mobility, strength, and wellness. You thrive in a community setting, bring positive energy, and are eager to lead group classes that inspire and empower.
**Responsibilities:**
- Lead Fitness instructor, and/or related martial arts group classes at various client locations (primarily serving seniors and adults)
- Design and adapt fitness programs to accommodate all skill and mobility levels, including those with chronic health conditions
- Ensure client safety and demonstrate proper technique at all times
- Foster an inclusive, motivating, and fun environment for all participants
- Set up and break down provided equipment as needed
- Maintain attendance records and communicate feedback to management
- Promote Strive 2 Fitness programs and encourage ongoing participation
- Be punctual, reliable, and maintain a positive, energetic attitude
**Qualifications:**
- Certification in Fitness Instructor, Kung Fu, or a related martial art (required)
- Group fitness instructor certification preferred (ACE, NASM, AFAA, etc.)
- Experience teaching seniors or special populations is a strong plus
- CPR/AED certified (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation (mobile classes at various locations)
- Outgoing, energetic, and passionate about wellness and community service
